Nairobi Governor, Mike Mbuvi Sonko was on Wednesday 12th (today) barred from accessing the main days for the ongoing funeral ceremony of the late former president Daniel Moi.
Sonkos entourage reached Kabarak grounds at 9.30am after which he got out of his car and proceeded to the Dais.
However, security officers barred him from reaching the main dais where other leaders were seated.
Sonko was seen arguing with a spectacled man in black with a blue tag and who was persuading and barring him not to go to the dais.
Interestingly, Sonko was allowed to sit at the Podium during yesterdays Tuesday ceremony at Nyayo national stadium.
Until now, it is not clear why Sonko was barred from the main Dais
